- Serving as a contact point to make sure interactions with UOIT are efficient and positive;
- Providing information on new technologies that UOIT has available for industry.
We help faculty and students by:
- Facilitating research partnerships with industry;
- Helping researchers to understand the business environment so they can effectively promote their ideas;
- Supporting the management of intellectual property so that research ideas turn into real products.
The OTTC is staffed by Ann Dulhanty, Manager, Szanne McNutt, Technology Transfer Officer and Kelly Hayes, Administrative Assistant.
The team has many years of experience in research partnerships and technology commercialization, and has helped many researchers to bring their dreams closer to reality.
